The HydroDetector Hydrostatic Head Tester determines the water penetration resistance of materials under certain pressures. It specifically quantifies how much water pressure (typically measured in millimeters of water column or Pa) a material can withstand before water starts to penetrate.
It tests their waterproofing performance in humid or water-pressure environments. The testing principle is: to apply pressure through the water column to the sample. Do this until the water penetrates the sample or fails (when a third drop appears on the surface). The pressure sensor records the hydrostatic pressure value at this moment. Hydrostatic Head Testing is one kind of waterproofing test.
